FlipStart uses item photos to provide AI-powered resale analysis. These photos may include clothing, electronics, shoes, accessories, tags, labels, graphics, flaws, or other item details. You should avoid uploading photos that contain unnecessary personal information, faces, private documents, addresses, payment cards, or other sensitive information.

Location data:

FlipStart may request access to location information in Hunt Mode to help label or organize a thrift session by store or area. Location access is used only for app functionality related to Hunt Mode and thrift session tracking. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, but some Hunt Mode features may not work properly without it.

Device and usage information:

We may automatically collect limited technical information about your device and app usage, such as device type, operating system, app version, crash data, performance data, log data, and feature usage. 1. AI Processing

FlipStart uses artificial intelligence tools and third-party service providers, including OpenAI, to analyze item photos and related item information.

When you submit photos or item details, that information may be processed by our AI service providers to generate resale estimates, item descriptions, platform suggestions, demand signals, and other analysis results.

Do not upload images or information that you do not want processed for AI analysis.
